Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You might assume that a three-legged cat would be physically limited. Cassie would be happy to
demonstrate for you that this is not the case. She can run and jump and is as agile as her four-
legged friends. Like many cats, Cassie can be a little cautious when she first meets someone
new, but then transforms into an affectionate girl who will follow you around, hoping for the
belly rubs she loves. Bonus: she is so soft that her coat has been described as feeling like
“bunny fur.” Birthdate: 5-1-2015
We really appreciate your wanting to give a shelter animal a home. The Humane Society of New York was founded in 1904. Our Vladimir Horowitz & Wanda Toscanini Horowitz Adoption Center is a no-kill shelter. Our on-site hospital and staff of skilled veterinarians/surgeons look after the health and well-being of every animal here. We offer FREE vet care for the first 3 weeks after adoption. We also have a great adoption matchmaker who will gladly take your profile and match you (or you and your pet) with just the right cat or dog companion. Please feel free to submit your application!
