This is Gus - born 11/18/2016. He is a sweet, clownish, friendly, and purely rotten full Cocker Spaniel pup who likes nothing better than to get loves, chase toys and go anywhere and everywhere with you.
He is good with other dogs - large and small (though he is pretty shy right at first, it doesn't take him long to warm up and want to play).
This little guy has been bounced around far too much for such a young pup and he just really needs a committed family to be his forever home. He was bounced twice because one couple (elderly - and who found him as a very small puppy in a snow bank!) couldn't handle the physical demands of a growing, energetic puppy and a second time because the family just had no idea how to deal with a dog, period. He is about 90% housetrained, but will still have an accident if you miss his cues to go out. He is very smart, a very quick learner and eager to please. And when he wants lovin, he doesn't take no for an answer! He needs a dedicated and patient owner who is willing, and has the time, to give him the attention, play time and training he needs.
His adoption fee is $175 and includes age-appropriate shots, worming, microchip, and neuter. An approved application is required (which can be found here: http://pawsitivetailsrescue.org/our-adoptable-pets/pawsitive-tails-rescue-dog-adoption-application-form/), as is an adoption contract.
