My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Farley has been here since he was just a kitten, he use to be really shy and scared of loud noises but since hes grown up at the shelter he has come out of his shell. Hes a very sweet boy, when you go to pet him he still acts shy by putting his head down but he does love it. He also loves to be sweet talked to and responses with the cutest meow. If you are looking for a sweet shy boy come in and visit Farley! He is estimated to be born April 2013 and is around 12 pounds. To meet this adoptable pet, please fill out an adoption application at www.abandonedpetrescue.org and a team member will contact you to schedule an appointment.

More about this shelter

Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.

APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
