My story

Harvey is one of eight kittens found in a feral colony. He is very shy and likes to hang out on the top shelves. Since hes been here since he was a kitten he would need a lot of time and patience if he ever found the right home. Estimated to be born April 2013To meet this adoptable pet, please fill out an adoption application at www.abandonedpetrescue.org and a team member will contact you to schedule an appointment.

More about this shelter

Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.

APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
