Emma is a DSH, spayed female, Tortiseshell. She was born in June of 2012. Emma was trapped at the campus of Express Scripts. She loves to be petted and slobbers when she begins to purr. She is very loving and likes to sleep in a kitty bed. She loves to play during the night, running back and forth. She gets along with the other kitties and dogs in her foster home. She is still a little shy and doesn't like to be picked up yet.

Our adoption fees:
Cats range from $150 to $175. Exotic breeds may be more.
Dogs range from $250 to $350. High demand puppies and small dogs may be more.
This fee includes: felv/fiv/heartworm testing, worming, flea and ear mite treatments, age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, lab work, dental or other medical or surgical treatments as deemed necessary by our team of veterinarians and also a microchip with free registration.
The adoption process includes an interview, application, adoption contract, which includes a return obligation if adopter is needing to rehome pet. The adoption process may include a home visit.

St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and other neglect situations.
We do not have a facility. All of the pets we rescue are in loving foster homes. Foster homes provide love, care training, and, if needed, rehabilitation to the pets. This also allows the pet to be more adjusted when they enter their forever home since they are used to a home environment (versus a kennel at the pound).
