My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Estimated DOB is May 2017.

Taryn (pronounced tear-in) loves to run and play. She goes tearing through the house quite often running after another kitty, or just running. She is very energetic! Taryn is not fond of being held but she does love attention. She lets you know when she wants attention by giving you a bump with her head. If you stop before she wants you to, then she reaches out a paw to let you know she is not done. She also chases her tail sometimes and will turn in circles trying to catch it. Taryn is a great blanket biscuit maker and will snuggle with you sometimes at night. If you are looking for a energetic kitty, I could be the cat for you!

To fill out an application please email us at PurRescue@yahoo.com.
All cats are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, testing for FeLV/FIV, fecal and age appropriate shots. The adoption fee is $100 which helps to offset some of our vetting costs.

More about this rescue

PurRescue was founded in July of 2017 by rescuers who have been fostering since 2007 for other organizations. We are a small group that primarily rescues cats and finds them fur-ever homes with deserving families. Occasionally we also rescue dogs in need. We engage in TNR, Trap-Neuter-Return of community cats in order to reduce the population of unwanted cats.
