Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rupert is looking for his perfect match! We rescued him from the Moreno Valley Shelter in CA in July, and he arrived in Maine in August. Rupert is a stunning bicolor boy of about 5 years old. He's a sweet boy with a lot of energy, and he likes people! We absolutely adore him. Rupert is good with other dogs upon proper intro - but probably no cats for him. Rupert is currently learning leash manners etc with our friends Kompletely K-9 Dog Training and Rehabilitation - so whoever adopts this guy is going to be lucky - as he will have some good training under his belt.
We are going to be looking for an active home for Rupert since he is energetic - he will want a nice walk daily and some play time. If you think you might want to add the gorgeous Rupert to your loving home, please fill out our online application to get the approval process in motion. We won’t schedule meet & greets without an approved app on file. Here’s the link:

Applicants should expect to have their vet references checked to make sure that all current and prior pets have been kept up to date on rabies and distemper, as well as an annual heartworm exam and at least 6 mos of preventative purchased during mosquito season, and that they are all spay/neutered.
