Honey was saved from a rural high kill shelter and we think she was used for breeding.
Honey is a beautiful four year old red cocker spaniel with bits of buff freckles. She is just a love and a joy to be around! Honey does not do well with larger dogs and if she were to go to a home with another dog ... that pup would need to be low key. Honey has been doing much better with her foster moms pack and has come a long way with being able to socialize with the pack. Honey does not do well with another dominate dog.
Honey would do best in a home as an only dog as she prefers humans over dogs! Honey will follow you around all day carrying a ball or a toy and will settle down for snuggles!
Honey is the perfect pup for someone that would like to take their dog to work with them! She just needs her pile of toys and a bed and she is happy, happy, happy!
Honey does guard her food and toys and she would only be considered in a home with older children that are mature enough to understand this.
Honey's foster mom adores her and takes her shopping for toys and special walks! If you would enjoy this sweet girl that loves to snuggle and play ball ... Honey is the girl for you!
Honey did test positive for HW and has been on slow kill and will have completed her treatment this month and she also had surgery for cherry eye. She is otherwise a very healthy happy girl!
Honey spends her day with her foster mom in her office and she piles all of her toys and just plays! She loves her toys and is just a joy to be around! She loves being brushed and snuggles right up for her brushing!
