My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Missy is a 14 yr old female that is looking for a forever home in her golden years. She came to us after animal control found her when her owners had passed away. She was without food and water for days which left her emaciated and malnourished. We've restored her health and she's gained her weight back - she just needs a home to call her own and a soft place to rest at night.


She's currently in a home with other dogs and doesn't do well with them - she's ok with the cats in the home, but we think she'd prefer to be the only dog.
She loves humans and wants to be with you all the time - she'd be a perfect companion for a retired person or couple who don't want to commit to a younger dog.
She's still quite active and trots around like an Arabian horse.....well an older Arabian horse - she's got a great appetite, she's up to date on all vaccines - and Saving Carolina Dogs is willing to sponsor any vetting she needs for the rest of her life.

She ABSOLUTELY needs a fenced in yard that's secure so she can enjoy her time outdoors. We'd be happy to transport her to the right home. She's a sweet older girl - if you think your home is the right one for her send us an email at savingcarolinadogs@yahoo.com
