My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IMPORTANT!! Due to time and staffing constraints, ALL inquiries/questions MUST BE accompanied by your completed Adoption Application (Matchmaking Questionnaire). See above for the link to the form. Any inquiries/questions sent without the completed form will NOT receive a response. Thank You for understanding.
Affectionate "special needs" Ginger is 4 years old and in search of a loving home that is as special as she is. Ginger had a rough start in life and for the first year of her puppyhood she was strictly confined in a tiny crate with only a few potty breaks. As a result, she suffers from claustrophobia and is terrified of leashes. Despite all this, Ginger is a loving and friendly girl who likes nothing better than to jump up on your lap for a tummy rub, or sit beside you on the couch watching TV. She also loves sleeping in bed with you. She likes toys and chew bones and running around out in the back yard.

Ginger is good with other pets and us perfectly potty trained. She uses the doggie door and never makes a mess. Ginger would be the ideal companion for someone who doesn't take their dog for a walk and just wants a friendly and loving pet to be their best friend.

Her adoption fee is $125 and includes her spay and all shots.

More about this rescue

We are a small foster home based organization, rescuing homeless pets both from the public (including those found as strays) and the county shelter euthanasia lists. Since each pet is raised with families in private homes, we learn detailed information about their personalities and needs, and strive to make the best possible match for each one. We are all volunteers with no paid staff and your patience is appreciated as we work to find committed forever homes with responsible and knowledgeable families. We search for permanent and stable homes to ensure a lifelong match for each one.
