Chunk and baby Ranch-Bffs that bonded while living on the street together
The Story
Chunk was a stray who spent his days trying to find food and safety while living in a RV park in Glen Rose Texas. Eventually Chunk was hit by a car shattering his hip. While trying to survive his hip injuries, Chunk came across Ranch a 6 week old stray kitten in a storm and took him under his wing. They have not been apart since. Chunk and Ranch's rescuer worked hard to find financial help to get Chunk's hip replace. Her hard work paid off and soon. Chunk's $13, 000 metal hip replacement was sponsored by a non-profit foundation. Chunk, with Ranch by his side they traveled to Houston for his hip replacement. The staff immediately realized the strong bond Chunk and baby Ranch had. They made sure they stayed together while Chunk recovered from his hip replacement. Now Chunk has made a full recovery and he and his best friend Ranch are ready for their new home. They love spending time laying together watching outside what goes on outside through a window.
Chunk is a laid by guy who is estimated to be 3 years old. He is a laid back affectionate guy who is great with kids, women, men and other cats. He is scared of dogs. He currently is being fostered in a home with cats, a dog and a toddler. Due to a rough life on the streets, Chunk is hiv+. Ranch is not. They are being fostered by their rescuer who has cats and a young child.
Ranch is 5 months old. His estimated DOB is May 2017. He is all kitten and thinks everything is a toy. He adores cats, kids, women and men. He hardly makes any noise except when Chunk is out of his sight and Ranch will cry for him.
ADOPTION FEE $250 ($125 ea) They are both neutered, utd on vaccinations, Chunk is Fiv +, Ranch has tested Fiv/Felv-, they have been dewormed and they will be microchipped.
