Holy Smokes! Have you every seen anyone as cute as Little Lila? We sure doubt it. LILA is everything you imagine in a retriever puppy. She is smart, active, and looking to learn. She loves the water. One of her favorite games is jumping in the kiddie pool to retrieve her toys one by one and piling them up outside the pool. She loves to play with other dogs. She is a confident puppy who is totally comfortable in new situations and public places. She will be a blast in puppy training class and could potentially excel in agility down the road.
Although her adorableness is hard to resist, LILA is not a puppy we recommend for a first family puppy or a laid back household. This is based on her breeds only....LILA is a fantastic, constantly happy retriever pup! If you are familiar with the breeds, active, and committed to consistent training, you will hit the puppy jackpot with LILA!
LILA will be microchipped and up to date on all puppy vaccines including even the Canine Influenza (H3N2/H3N8) vaccine when she arrives at her forever home.
As of 9/29/17 she is 11 weeks old.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
