Had one of the more flattering greetings from Prince; he peed on my shoes. Love you too, buddy! Can't blame him, he was just so excited to get outside and enjoy that sunshine. Prince is such the gentle giant; you can't help but wrap your arms around him for big hugs...and he loves it! Seems indifferent around other dogs, but he'll need some work on the leash - he's a big, strong boy and he'll take ya for a ride. In fact, let's just call him a miniature horse; by that standard, he's actually pretty easy to deal with. He even sits! See, it's all relative.

Availability date shown is when the cat or dog becomes JCAS property; any necessary medical procedures may slightly postpone an adoption. For dogs, a meet & greet with your dog is required, and is the only definitive way to know how our dog will behave for you.

Adoption costs:
Cat/kitten: $90, second cat/kitten for $1. There may be an additional $50 refundable spay/neuter fee for kittens too young to be spayed/neutered at time of adoption.
Dog: $120 plus dog license fee
Adoption fees include vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm check (for dogs), feline leukemia check (for cats), rabies vaccination, and deworming. Pets have also been treated for fleas and ticks. Some pets may have had other veterinary treatment as needed.

Wanted Donations: Any unused blankets, towels, toys, leashes, laundry soap, Clorox bleach and bandanas would be greatly appreciated. In addition, we always appreciate donations of cat or dog food, cat litter, and treats
