My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chorna is a healthy ten year old, indoor, black long haired cat who weighs 10lb 4oz. She was born in July 2007 and was spayed as a kitten at 4 1/2 months. She was adopted from the Toronto Humane Society in the fall of 2007.

Chorna is very social and especially enjoys having her ears, head and nose rubbed, in return she shows thanks by licking you. She likes being brushed and stroked. She stays physically active by running after treats or the beam of a laser. Small felt toys, a tennis ball or an emery board have also become her play things. Chorna can often be found sitting/lying on the top tier of her cat stand after she has groomed her nails on its scratching post. She like snoozing in the sun or watching birds and squirrels with great curiosity.

Chorna would do best in a quiet home without other animals or children. She likely would except being with a kitten or younger cat after a period of adjustment.
Her current family is willing to donate two months of wet & dry food along with two litter boxes & scoops, brushes, toys, cat dishes, an oversized water bowl which Chorna prefers and a large cat stand. Chorna needs only your love in your "forever home"!

Chorna is participating in our Courtesy Adoption Posting Program and is not the property of Toronto Cat Rescue. Toronto Cat Rescue does not accept responsibility for any pet placements that result from this service.
