Milo was brought into rescue after being involved in a terrible incident in which he was stabbed. He was taken to an emergency vet where he was then relinquished by his owner.
Milo was treated at the vet and is going to be OK. While the weapon appears to have been a 5' knife, he was one lucky pup because knife went in and then down, along his body. His lungs and internal organs were not punctured and he is recovering quickly.
So far, what we know about Milo is he is very friendly and affectionate towards people. He appears to be non-reactive towards other animals but he has not been allowed to play with them off leash. He shows no food or toy aggression, and, is very, very happy when he gets to go for a car ride.
This 98lb Gentle Giant deserves a family who will never put him in danger again. Could that be yours?
