My story

Meet Max! Max is a 1 year old German Shorthaired Pointer who was not living the very best life until recently when he came to us. Max failed as a hunting dog so he remained chained up, segregated from all there is to enjoy as a dog in the world. Max defines gentle. He could play ball for hours or simply remain by your side with a toy to chew or play with. Max would do wonderful in an active home, especially with children. 
Max had never been properly socialized with other dogs however he is very excited when meeting them. Max shows all the signs of wanting to spend time with other social dogs however he is still learning proper social skills. At this time we recommend Max be the only pet with continued positive reinforcement to help further socialize him. Max take just a moment to warm up to new people but after that, expect butt wiggles to the point he almost folds himself in half. Max adores human contact and a warm, soft bed.
