Claudia has unusual looks with a face that is very feminine. You can tell by looking at her, that she is a girl. She is mostly white, but with black patches. She is around ten years old. Claudia is also deaf. She had a tough life before she came to the cat sanctuary. She was living in one of the parks with a nature preserve and lived on the run from coyotes, bobcats and other wild animals. As a deaf kitty, it is a miracle that she survived. Claudia was feral when she arrived at the cat sanctuary, but soon became tame – probably because she was so grateful to the humans for a safer life than she had before. She is now very sweet and affectionate. She is considered a “Special Needs” cat because of the deafness, but doesn’t need much in the way of special care. She just needs to be kept indoors and safe. Because of this, she really needs a home. She also needs a sensitive and caring human companion to give her love. You will surely receive much love back from her. She is very sweet and grateful for attention. Every now and then she’ll have a skittish moment, because she gets startled on account of the deafness, but she then settles down quickly. Claudia likes other cats and would do well in a multi-cat environment. She’d by okay as the only kitty in the house, too.
