Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mitzy was doing okay but far from good until her family fell on extremely hard times. She was chained and food and shelter have been scarce. She is small and won't be 40 pounds when she is back to her proper weight. The look in her eyes when she realized she was being rescued would break your heart. Her eyes will fix on yours with all the love and joy she has to give someone. This sweet, petite girl is not your typical hound. She is quiet and mild mannered but she is thrilled to see anyone and will need to learn not to greet with jumping and licks. She is good with other dogs and has been around cats. She is extremely affectionate and would probably try to be a lap dog if she was allowed, but she is intelligent and will learn quickly.
