My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lindy is a 6-8 year old beagle mix. She may be a puggle (pug/beagle). Lindy is a quiet and reserved little girl who can be a little bit anxious. Once she settles in somewhere she is a sweet little lap dog who just wants to follow you around the house. Lindy has very short hair and seems to get cold easily so she may need clothes in the winter months. She loves to burrow under blankets to find a warm and cozy spot to stay. Lindy has done well with other dogs and cats after a couple of days transition. Initially she is very defensive with them but as long as they are nice to her she settles down. She does need to eat separately from other animals. She would probably prefer not to live with very young children but she may do fine with visiting kids.

Lindy has luxating patellas, which is common in dogs her size and has left her with some weakness in her back legs. She gets around just fine but will need a boost to get up on furniture or into the car. Lindy does not mind being picked up. She is potty trained and she does just fine left out of her crate during the day while you aren't home. She does whine, especially for the first few days in a new home, but she doesn't bark too often. She would be a great apartment dog. Overall, Lindy is a sweet, low maintenance girl looking for someone to love her.
