My name is Woody! And I am estimate as a 10 year old Chihuahua mix I was found stray and never claimed so CAA Rescue got the call to help me and my foster mom said YES to giving me a home until I can find my true forever family!
Off 10 years is a long time to be looking for someone to love me, but I know you are out there and maybe you are reading this right now so let me tell you more about myself
While I do, do my business outside when I am outside I do not ask for the door, so you really have to pay attention to my subtle signals. My foster mom is trying to pee pee pad train me but it is a slow process
I absolutely adore my walks. They are a lot of fun for me and I know my new best friend (whenever I find you) will love to go walking everywhere with me. I travel well in the car so we can do so many things together
I am not overly vocal and typically I only start barking when the resident Chihuahuas in the home bark, I just join in with them because it is fun
I have been left alone up to 9 hours with no destruction or anxiety but it is important to note that when the humans are gone I am not really alone as there are other doggies there to keep me company
I am absolutely everyone friendly: dogs, cats, children, adults…. gold fish even! I just love everyone and want to be loved
At this time in foster care I show no signs of possession or aggression
I am a super easy going doggies with no issues really other than the still needing house training
My foster mom has this to say about me: Woody is very calm, gentle and affectionate little guy. He loves to be around other dogs and tries to follow them but he would be perfect for a less active family. He loves to cuddle and will follow you everywhere. He is the perfect dog and would make a perfect best friend.

A 3-Step process to adopt one of our foster dogs.
1. Fill the adoption form. It might seem long, but it’s the best way to find the right dog for you and your family!
2. We’ll arrange a meeting with the foster family of the dog you want to meet so you can see if s/he’s the right one for you.
3. If you decide to move forward, you’ll be asked to agree to a home visit, fill-in and sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
