Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tallulah was discovered on morning hiding in a car engine. She then ran into a nearby drain, where her rescuers fished her out. She is now safe and sound at the Owl House. She will play keep-away when you first visit, but after a few moments with a laser toy, she will think you are just grand. She likes to wrestle with bigger cats and sit beside you when you work on your computer (which is what she is doing right now)!
Tally will be spay/neutered before adoption, or will come back for a free future spay/neuter
FeLV/FIV test negative
Vaccinated for FVRCP and Rabies

The Owl House is a neighbors-helping-neighbors program in rural Spencer NY, assisting low-income and senior residents as they spay/neuter their outdoor cats. Many of our cats and kitten are shy with strangers and therefore were not accepted by shelters. Cats and kittens are adopted into indoor-only homes to reduce the burden on local shelters. We often deliver our cats (after you visit to choose your new friend) so adopters must be within at least two hours of Spencer. Our "adoption fee" is our request that the new adopter purchases (for their own use with their new cat) a piece of large sturdy cat furniture with a scratching feature suitable for a large cat (3 feet high or higher, 2x4 construction such as one finds fully assembled at Petsmart/Petco). This is verified when we deliver your cat or kitten! Thank you!
