My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome 5 yr old Bullmastiff is Neo!

Neo is an easy, lower energy dog who enjoys basking in the sun and taking slow walks in the neighborhood where he can sniff every tree and bush within reach. Like all mastiffs, he considers himself a lap dog and loves to snuggle with his people. A belly rub is all it takes to make Neo your best friend!

I started to write here that Neo is considered special needs. See, he's almost totally blind. But that is just a footnote in Neo's book because he doesn't care or let it slow him down one bit! He loves to be right in the middle of the action. Neo is very quick to memorize his environment and moves around his Foster Mom's house and backyard like he's been there forever. If anything, his new family will have to curb his daredevil ways because he considers himself a bit of a fearless explorer. He does require a home without a lot of stairs to get outside. While he does “do stairs”, a steep flight will be dangerous for him.

Due to Neo’s decreasing sight, we would like to find him a home where he can be the only dog. Neo does well with all people and a home with older kids that are able to understand Neo’s blindness is preferred. Cats are on his list of favorite things to chase and catch so a home without the small and furry please.

Neo is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, crate trained, house trained and will need to continue his heart worm treatment in his new home.
