Heidi is a very pretty girl, Tabico, mostly white. She is 10 years old (Est). Heidi was hit by a car when young, and one front paw is scarred. She is very playful, though, and not slowed down at all. Heidi has big golden eyes, and talkative. Heidi is very unique in that she is so affectionate, and likes to be in the room with you. Heidi would do best in a home with school-age children who can be patient with animals. Heidi is good with other cats, as long as they are not dominant. Heidi doesn't have dominance issues, but will fight to defend herself against another cat attacking her. Heidi is very good about claw clipping, and very good about the litter box as long as she has one of her own. She will require allergy food (is currently doing well on non-prescription food, but may need prescription food in the future) Heidi has severe stomatitis when she eats something she shouldnt. She has had a recent dental.

We are a partnership between Camden County College Student Vet Tech program, Alfred University Student Vet Tech program, and Renaissance Cats Sanctuary. We help cats who linger in shelters because of special needs. Many of our cats are NOT special needs, but may have come to us because of special circumstances. We try to fill in the gap where traditional rescues cannot help.
