I'm a sweet and happy gal of about 17 weeks of age (2/28/2009). My foster Mom says I'm a typical puppy - I like to chew on everything and i like to explore. I really like the big dogs at my foster home, and I like playing with my brothers Bacchis and Cadell.
I'm now becoming more active and playful! I'm doing well going outside for pooping, but as is typical of my age, peeing happens in a flash and pretty much anywhere at anytime!
I've become rather friendly with my foster parents and I try to get the big dogs to play by occassionally grabbing a big dog tail! I've started to learn dog communication and when to give the big dogs some space. And of course, I can be a bit nippy when I'm in play-mode!
My foster Mom says I'm becoming/is a bit of a "princess" ! I've decided that when it's nap time, I want to snuggle next to a person on the couch -- and if that isn't provided I'll go and snuggle with one of my brothers.
Mom says I may prove a little fussy when individual night time crating begins, but I tend to adapt well when changes are presented - though I can be fussy at first. I've learned to come in the doggie door already!
I'm a bit of a busy-body and like to roam the 4-corners of the house/garage looking for stuff to get into - pull on, chew on, or drag around. I go on some of the big walks but I'm more content to stick close to the house or be in the house. I also likes to pester my brothers at ANY opportunity!
I've just recently keyed in on "rolling" objects like balls - and I love to chase after them - and carry them back to a comfy spot. I tend to have some "puppy flurries" when I'm getting really tired - similar to a kid that doesn't really want to lie down for a nap.
At first I was the least inclined to go to my foster parents, but now I think they are really cool - so unless I'm busy scoping out different things, I go rather quickly to them.
I've been spayed, dewormed and I'm up to date with vaccinations. I'm also on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
I will not be adopted out to a family with children under the age of 8 years old.
