My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lane is a sweet dog ! His past has not been good but rescue plans to change that ! Lane was emancipated and scared to move at the shelter . He is still very shy !! Lane is a maltese terrier mix ?? His hair is very fine and wispy but due to severe matting he had to be shaved to the skin . Lane LOVES and I mean LOVES to be held . He is house trained , crate trained and completely up to date on his vaccines . He is neutered , miscto chipped and on monthly heartworm preventative . Lane gets along fine with other dogs but due to his being so shy we would like to see him go into a home as an only dog or with one dog about his size . He needs lots of attention. Lane weighs only 8 lbs but needs to continue to gain weight . We think he’s somewhere around 7-8 years old , has some missing teeth and Rescue did have a dental done as well . Lane is in a foster home in the Fort. Myers, Florida area.
