Meet Molly!
She is a 3 year old American Bulldog who came to us from an overcrowded shelter and is one is one of the sweetest dogs that you will ever meet. Molly gets along great with men, woman and all children over the age of 5. She has not been exposed to children under the age of 5, but we suspect she will do well with them given the proper introduction. Molly can be a bit bossy so a home with a laid back male dogs of any size is ideal. We have noticed that she is very interested in squirrels, so a home without cats would suit her best due to her prey drive.
Her foster mom loves having her in their home. She says that she snorts, snores, and toots! She's a funny happy girl who loves to kiss and cuddle! Molly loves to be with her humans, so she would thrive in a home surrounded by people of all ages. She is perfectly content with snuggling up on the couch and does not require a family with an active lifestyle.
Molly may not have had basic dog training in the past, but she is a fast learner and catching on quickly. She is housebroken and enjoys practicing basic obedience, leash and crate training with her foster family.
Molly is fully vaccinated, spayed, crate trained and will need to continue her heartworm treatment in her home at no cost to her family. We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation. The adoption app is available on our website (www.bullpenrescue.org) under the 'work with us' tab. If you choose not to fill out an application before inquiring about a particular dog, please briefly tell us about yourself, family, and lifestyle since this will help us determine if the dog you are interested in is a good match.
Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a perfect placement so we know that they will not be failed again.
