ALI HAS BEEN ADOPTED! Ali is a gorgeous, gentle and sweet 3-4 year old female Boxer that has had a pretty rough start in life. Ali was confiscated by law enforcement in southern IL on charges of neglect. Concerned neighbors had seen Ali in a yard with her mate and it appeared that they were nearly starved to death. Both Ali and her mate were taken to an animal control facility where her mate unfortunately passed away. This poor girl was taken on August 28, 2008 and had to be held until her owner could be tried and sentenced. After 4 months, the judge has finally allowed Ali to be free and she was transferred to our rescue in Chicago in hopes of finding her forever home. Ali is now up to a healthy weight and despite the neglect she suffered, is a happy and healthy dog. She holds no grudges and absolutely adores people of all ages. She is very gentle and sweet and will be an ideal family pet. Ali is good with other dogs and is crate trained. She also appears to be housebroken, but may need a brief refresher course after being kenneled for so long. Please give this girl the second chance she deserves! Ali's adoption fee is $250.
