Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Astro - Dutch Shepherd/Husky Mix - Male - 2 Years - www.twyla.org
If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org
Meet Astro: This gorgeous brindle Dutch Shepherd and Husky mix is back with us after being returned due to changes in his families' situation. He has the most stunning blue eyes! He is now about 2 years old and active, playful and affectionate. He loves to go for walks, loves car rides and loves to be petted and massaged. He's good with dogs and cautiously curious about cats (tends to want to chase if the cat runs). He likes humans....both adults and children. He loves dog treats and is a good candidate for training that way. He knows about crates and baths (he's the only dog I've bathed that did not move while being shampooed and rinsed well. What a gem). He's been fully vaccinated, neutered, is heartworm negative.
Astro is looking for an active home, preferably with another active, playful dog that likes him. He is even gentle with smaller dogs, wants to play, but not rough.
***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
