My name is Lola
I was surrendered to CAA Rescue Foster Care this is the 3rd time in my life someone has given up on me. I don’t understand why my families cannot love me… I am a good girl
I am a very calm 90lbs female and while my original paperwork says Cane Corso Mix, the volunteers believe I am more Mastiff mix
I am leash trained and house trained. I can be left alone with no destruction. I am doggie friendly and kitty kat friendly.
My problem is meeting new people, especially MEN!! Right now my foster dad is so very kind to me and I want to trust him very much but it is hard for me. I stick to my foster mom like glue … like peanut butter to the roof of your mouth glue! I trust her very much. I am shy meeting new people but my foster mom won’t let me stay in hiding. She is taking me out and about. One weekend I attended an event with about 100 people and other dogs. And yes I was nervous but everyone was kind to me and my foster mom was always with and so I gained confidence as the night went on. No one was mean to me and no one hurt and I came to see that it was ok to be out with people and that I was not going to be hurt
But if a family comes to meet me you have to be prepared that I may grumble at you, which does not mean I hate you and that we cannot be best friends forever eventually … just means be patient with me. Go slow. Allow me to come to you rather than you coming to me
Watch how I am with my foster mom and you will see what life can be like with me.
I really absolutely LOVE my foster mom’s back yard!!! It is the best thing ever… I spend a lot of time running around and playing. This makes me truly happy. So my foster family is looking for a family with no children, in a home with a fenced in back yard and maybe even a doggie friend to pal around with me. Don’t get me wrong I am a quiet and laid back girl for the most part when I am in the house.
My next family has to be my FOR ALWAYS family no matter what! They will have to be very special people because I am just nervous at loud noises and new people, I will go into hiding behind whoever I trust to keep me safe

1. Fill the adoption form. It might seem long, but it’s the best way to find the right dog for you and your family!
2. We’ll arrange a meeting with the foster family of the dog you want to meet so you can see if s/he’s the right one for you.
3. If you decide to move forward, you’ll be asked to agree to a home visit, fill-in and sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
