My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ABOUT ME:
We double dog dare you not to fall in love with Mr. Mooshoo! He’s just about the happiest, sweetest, goofiest guy in town, despite everything he’s been through.
Mr. Moo was found as a stray in Atlanta, and it was obvious that he had been neglected for a very long time. Moo was emaciated, his skin was a mess, and he appeared to be totally blind. We’ve made great progress with the first two issues, but there is nothing we can do about his vision, except love him just the way he is!
WHAT I NEED IN A HOME:
Mooshoo is wonderful with everyone he meets, and doesn’t seem to care about other animals one bit. He loves to be with his people and enjoys a good roll in the grass on a warm day! Moo gets around fairly well despite only being able to see light and shadow, and we’ve been working with him on voice tracking. He has figured out how to use a dog door and can even manage a few steps if taken slowly.
Mr. Moo is an older boy that prefers a low-key life, and will need a family that is willing to work with him to navigate a home environment.
THE DETAILS:
Mooshoo is housetrained, but sometimes has a hard time holding it for longer periods due to his age. He knows basic obedience, and is pretty great on a leash to boot! Mooshoo is fully vaccinated and micro-chipped, and will be neutered and treated for heartworms as soon as he is healthy enough.

Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a perfect placement so we know that they will not be failed again.
