My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Sunshine but my friends call me Sunny, so please, call me Sunny! I am the pretty yellow and green budgie. My friend's name is Blinky and he is a gorgeous blue color.

We both have been to the vet and she said we were in great health! That means if we find a new home we can go right away. We are so excited to hear that!

We are no trouble at all. We are pretty quiet unless the TV or radio is on. Then, we like to sing along and have fun. Although we are not tame, with a little patience and practice (and maybe some millet) we could probably be taught to sit on your finger.

We are not picky eaters either. We like a mix of fruit flavored small pellets, sensible seed blend, maintenance pellets and some fresh fruit and veggies once in awhile.

We would love to find our forever home! Because we are bonded, we must be adopted together though. Wouldn't you love to come meet us and see if our forever home is with you? An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird’s cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!
