Hi, I’m AUSSIE. I'm a tall, dark, and handsome male, approx 1.5 yrs old Husky-Lab X, looking for someone to spend the rest of my life with! ❤️ I'm the strong, silent, gentle-giant type. I love the outdoors, going for long walks, and meeting new people. Aussie is a very quiet, good-natured boy that rarely barks. He only seems to bark during play with other dogs at the dog park. Aussie has been working on recall and being polite with new people instead of showering them with affection! He does do well with basic commands such as 'Sit', 'Paw', 'Other Paw', and 'Down'. Aussie is great on the leash and rarely pulls, except when he gets distracted by something unusual like 'a bag blowing along the ground in the wind'......squirrel!!! He travels well in the vehicle. Aussie does have some separation anxiety, probably because he loves people so much, that he always wants to be with them! He is fully crate trained and will go in his crate on the command 'Crate' so crating is a must for his new family to follow. He is a big galoot & plays in a "rough & tumble" kind of way, so he would be best suited for a home with no small children as he might accidentally knock them over. Aussie is young and playful. He love the outdoors and going for walks and going to the off-leash dog parks. Aussie loves affection and will 'melt' to the floor when you pet and cuddle him. Aussie has 'zero' food aggression and can be manipulated aka patted all over!!
