My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Jack and I'm here to tell you all about me. I am a very cute, energetic, loving puppy. Now I say puppy but I am about a year old and I am fully grown. I am a bit thin so I will fill out. I have been told that I am a black German shepherd. I have been neutered, microchipped and I am up to date on all my shots. My favourite thing to do is to chase things that you throw. I love love love chasing balls and sticks. My foster moms agrees that I am good in the house and sleep in my crate all night long. Up until now I didn't get a chance to see much of the world. I am so excited to explore and sniff and see all that is around me. Even though I didn't have a chance to meet and play with other dogs , I have been great with dogs big and small, old and young since I got to my foster home. I don't know how I would react if I saw a cat but I do like the looks of those squirrels! I like to let my foster family know when there are people coming to the house. I use my big dog bark to let them know. Apparently it's all for show as I would much rather have those people pet me and love me. My foster mom has been working with me to learn some boundaries and manners. I am getting pretty good at sitting and waiting before running through an open door. My leash skills are not good yet though. I am trying my hardest but there is so much to see that I will try pulling you over to what I want to see. I had an accident after I came here that resulted in me loosing my bottom teeth between my incisors. I didn't let that get me down at all though. Now I have a bigger space to let my tongue hang out. Because I am excitable and I will jump up still, it is not recommended that I go to a house with small children. Not that I would hurt them on purpose, but I might knock them over in my enthusiasm 😊. My ideal forever family would be one that wants to spend lots of time with me playing and learning how to be the best I can be. I promise I won't disappoint you!
