Hi- I'm Andy! I'm a big guy with lots of love to share. I am neutered and vetted. (I was front declawed prior to coming to A4A). I came to A4A with another cat. The home where we lived decided they no longer wanted pets and said they were going to throw us outside in the bitterly cold temps/snow. Thankfully A4A came and saved us before that happened. I am very sweet and do great with other cats and with dogs- and I love people. I am approx. 6 years old.
When I came to A4A after being rescued my foster parents noticed I drank a lot of water. A4A had blood work run and found out that I have diabetes and I require insulin 2x/day. Otherwise I am purr-fectly healthy, happy and super sweet. I really hope I won't be overlooked for adoption because of my diabetes diagnosis. I have SOOOO much love to share...and I'm super adorable too! (If you decide to adopt me, my A4A foster parent will show you how to administer the insulin each day- it's very easy and I'm a gentle, easy going boy).

NOTE: Andy is *very* tolerant of his insulin shot. He makes no reaction when he receives it each evening. He is a very sweet cat and does great with other cats and dogs- and with all people too. It is important to note that Andy's insulin levels can change over time. At this time my levels require insulin2x a day- at other times I have required it only 1x/day.
