Pancake is a 14lb Wirehaired Dachshund/Yorkie mix who is about a year old. He came to our group in rough shape and has recovered very nicely. He has quite a bit of energy and loves to play and run

As he is still a young dog, he is still being crate and housetrained, and will need lots of attention and patience until he masters those skills. He loves to play with cats and other dogs and he will follow you around and give you hugs. He does not like to be walked on a leash yet, but learns quickly, with the right encouragements (treats...)

Pancake is looking for a somewhat active home that can give him the exercise and attention he needs and the safety and security he deserves, he does not like to be left alone for long periods of time, so a furry playmate or a human who works from home or is home a lot would be desirable.
