My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Zena. Just a sweet, simple girl that's ready to put her past behind her, and find furever love. She's funny - stepping outside, you get this sense of "WHAT DO I DO? WHERE DO I GO? HERE? THERE? THIS LOOKS FUN!" from her, just absorbing what looks to be a newfound sense of freedom. Considering her energy level, I was surprised how responsive she was while walking on the leash; she's very attuned to you. As you can see in some of the pictures - she's just starving for affection. No matter what they're doing, if you kneel down and offer yourself to them, they're on you like glue: Hugs, shnoz in your coat, face-nuzzles, you name it. Just love. Simple. Come meet Zena and give her time to go through her fun and loving motions, so you can get a sense of all that she has to offer. The girl's got layers.

Come meet me today at Jackson County Animal Shelter in Jackson, Michigan, USA! *All dog adoptions require an application*. For dogs, a meet & greet with your dog is required, and is the only definitive way to know how our dog will behave for you.

PLEASE NOTE: NOT ALL ANIMALS ARE ON THE WEBSITE. IF YOU ARE MISSING YOUR PET, PLEASE COME THE SHELTER TO SEE IF YOUR PET IS HERE.
