My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pickles is a lovable character. She was born in August of 2013 and weighs about sixty pounds. Pickles gets along with most dogs and has fun playing with them. But she really loves people! She enjoys going on walks and hanging out getting petted. Pickles is easy to bathe, rides great in the car and walks well on a leash. She is a happy girl who would love having her own two-legged family. Pickles will fill your heart and your home with love. Bring her happy smile into your home and you will be smiling, too.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
