My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello and good morning everyone...I would like to introduce myself...my name is #LulaTulaluhBPFF...I would like to share my story with you....well no one knows really if I wandered off my property...or I was abandoned by my family....I had recently had a litter and I was worried about my babes...and who would care for them...if they didn’t have their Momma...I walked and walked and didn’t know where I was...I was getting so tired...my heart was aching for my babes...then a woman saw me....and she knew she needed to help me...I was very skiddish...and I was playing hard to get....she spent a long time...trying to make me comfortable enough to trust her...when I gave up running from her....she gently picked me up...and saw right away....that I must have recently... had a litter of puppies... because I still had Mother’s milk...the look of compassion in her eyes...gave me a warm feeling inside...something I haven’t felt in a long time...she held me in her arms...and I felt safe...something I longed to feel again...she told me she was going to take me to Animal Care and Control...that she knew a woman named aunt Suzy who worked there...and they would all take care of me... that they would scan me and see if I have a microchip....and if they could locate my family....when we arrived...they took my picture...gave me a necklace with numbers on it...and when they scanned me for a chip...no surprise...I didn’t have one...they brought me in to see the doctor...and while I was in there.... I got to meet aunt Suzy...she had the same look of compassion in her eyes....and again...I had a warm feeling inside my heart....she said she would take me home with her...while I was on stray hold...and she did...she welcomed me into her home...she made me feel safe...and loved...she’s got a big heart.. she said once my stray hold was over the rescue request would go out...and can you guess who answered that call? It was aunt Liz from Barky Pines...she said yes...yes she could and yes she would...when my stray hold was over I was taken to the doctor...to get my vaccines...and get fixed...I didn’t even know I was broken...but they told me not to worry that all pups and kitties have to be fixed...so I didn’t worry after that....afterwards....I got to rest all day...and that afternoon I met aunt Liz’s sister aunt Mary...she came to pick me up...she signed me out and when she first saw me...she had a warm loving look on her face...she told me not to worry...she was going to take me out to her families farm...where I would be taken wonderful care of...I said goodbye to aunt Suzy and thanked her with kisses...and off we went for that long ride out to the country...when we arrived...I heard the happy songs of all types of feathered friends...cows running around...ducks ...geese...chickens....and a little piglet named Oliver...they all seem so happy I thought...and I relaxed a little bit...we drove over to Rita’s Cat House...and that’s when I met aunt Liz...she had that same warm loving look in her eyes...and I knew I had nothing to fear...when I was brought inside the yard....I was greeted by so many happy faces...they sniffed and wagged their tails at me...and I felt so welcomed...aunt Liz had a cozy bed all set up for me...with a warm blanket and a delicious bowl of crunchies...she said I should relax and settle in...and I did just that...when she came back a little while later...I went outside to meet the rest of the gang...I was surprised to see Momma (Carole) with 6 babes...and Chrissy who had had pups not that long ago...I felt such a rush of emotion...knowing this family would welcome momma’s and babes into their home...they love each and every one of their rescues...and when I met uncle Steve later on....he too...had that same loving smile..when it was time for bed...I said my prayers...for my babes...that they know...that I would never have abandoned them...that I love them ...with all my heart...that when they cry...I pray someone will comfort them...it breaks my heart to know...I will never see them grow big and strong...but...I know...that I must take care of myself now...and I know...that being here at Barky Farms...I have nothing to worry about...that this family will do as promised and find each of us loving forever homes...with families who will cherish their pups...and love us for the rest of our lives..I am a 2 year old Chihuahua mix...I weigh 12 pounds...I am up to date on all my vaccines including my rabies vaccine...I have a microchip...I am a little shy at first...but I warm up quickly...if you or anyone you know is looking for a sweet girl...I may be the answer to your prayers...until that day comes...I will be here at the farm...making friends...well I better go...have a wonderful day...thank you for reading my story...thank you all for caring...and especially for sharing...your new friend Lula Talulah...woof woof #BPFF
