My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tango and Shadow are a bonded pair of adorable guinea pigs surrendered to the Rescue when their owner could not take them with her when she moved. Tango is about 3 years old. She is black, white and brown and loves to interact with her human but is a little shy about being picked up. Shadow, a neutered male who is about 3 years old, is a gorgeous silver Agouti. He hangs back a little and lets Tango be the leader. That doesn’t keep him from enjoying snacks and lap time!

Tango and Shadow have an excellent appetite for their Oxbow pellets and Timothy hay, and they enjoy a variety of fresh vegetables. They will need to live in a Rescue-required Cubes and Coroplast cage of at least 2 cubes by 4 cubes located in a room the family spends time in so everyone can enjoy their company. We also ask that anyone adopting them lives a reasonable driving distance from Rockville, MD.

The adoption fee for Tango and Shadow is $80 ($35 for an intact female and $45 for a neutered male). Are you interested in finding out more about adopting this lovable pair?
