Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brownie - EST DOB 05/29/10 - gets along great with other dogs! She has come around so much since being at our shelter and now will come up to be petted and even give kisses! She needs someone who is willing to earn her trust and give her the home she deserves. Brownie is currently sleeping in the office with two other dogs. If you have any questions about Brownie please contact us, we will be happy to answer them! She entered our facility in June of 2012.
This from her first rescue:
Brownie was rescued by a partner shelter from under an abandoned trailer. A person passing by heard whimpering coming from underneath, they looked and she was having problems giving birth. The person called the shelter; by the time someone got there she was in dire straights. The puppies had gotten stuck, Browning was rushed to the vets, sadly the puppies didn’t survive, but Brownie recovered from her injuries nicely. She was spayed in December of 2011 and tested negative for heartworm. She does not have any medical problems at all. She does great with all other dogs as she is very submissive. She had been on her own for most of her life and is untrusting of people. She has come a long way but still needs lots of help. A dog savvy companion that will be patient and work with her is what this girl needs, so she can be the great dog that we all know she can be.
