My story

Disability: Orthopedic abnormalities in the back legs- Surgery Scheduled
Breed :Boxer/Terrier mix

History: Kona was a found as a stray and landed in a neighboring public shelter.

It's not very often we have a puppy here, but we couldn’t turn our back on this little guy. After the shelter contacted numerous rescues about the plight of this puppy, PWD stepped up and got him to safety.

Based on Kona's x-rays he will need a bilateral FHO. (femoral head and neck excisions). Kona will undergo surgery March 14th to repair his back legs. Kona is playful, loves attention, smart, even gives high fives, and an all-around good puppy! Kona will be with us thru his surgeries and recuperation and should be ready to go to his forever home mid-April 2018.
