My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cocoa and Angie make up 200 pounds of lap dog. These two are sweet as can be.

Cocoa is 4 years old and full of so much life but her favorite spot in the world is on the couch with her human. She's a real snuggle bug. She knows her basic commands and loves learning new ones. Weather doesn't bother her. Sun, rain or snow this girl wants her evening walk and loves to play tug-a-war in the yard. When it's bed time she likes an old blanket to snuggle with on the couch. Cocoa is a little shy at first and doesn't really like people in her face, though she lets us give her kisses. She lets you know when someone is too close, but is not vicious at all. She really is a lover when you respect her space!

These two do best being the only dogs in their home. They do play well with dogs their own size and get along with males better. Careful and slow introductions to new dogs are encouraged. When it comes to people they love love love new friends. They really are attention hogs from whoever will give it!

They rarely bark, they are not loud dogs. And if/when they do bark they are great listeners to commands and will stop when told. They easily stay by your side when in public places and come when called. Our first adoption event went better than anyone could have guessed or hoped for. They are so calm and respecting of people, even the littles. In fact kids are a favorite for these two.

I hope these girls can find a forever home with lots of love and patience. They deserve a family with a fun yard and time to spend getting to know them.
