My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Cinderella and I go by Ella for short. I came from a puppy mill a couple of weeks ago. Since then I have been living inside and getting used to a whole new life. I am a young girl, 7 months to be exact. And I’m sure that you noticed I look a bit different than a regular beagle. My mom is an Aussie and my dad was a beagle. An Australian Cattle dog is used for herding and working on a farm. Of course beagles just follow their noses and look for food. So far I love to eat and hanging out with my dog and people friends.

I learned to be house broken pretty quick. I don’t like my crate and have been a Houdini according to my foster mom. I still need to be in the crate though because I am a pup. I love toys and like to carry them and chew on them. Sometimes I forget that not everything is a toy. I have been very friendly and gentle with everyone I meet. I do need some training because I need some manners and would benefit from some work.

If you want a pretty girl that will make a great addition to your family, let Midwest BREW know. My foster mom would love to tell you more! Love, Ella

NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements; and for families with very small children, puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets and hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.
