My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet the adorable Caper who came into rescue with her "sister" Olive. She will be joining us in Seattle on Feb 4th and would love to meet her new family right away. She is a very loving dog who can be pretty cautious as first but warms up as soon as you gain her confidence. She is intelligent and curious so will investigate and figure out how to get food stuff so watch your kitchen counters for sure! She likely spent a lot of time outside up until now and will need some help learning inside manners such as not counter surfing lol.

Caper is already potty trained and crate trained. She loves to play with other dogs and is great with cats and kids. She is a people dog and as such we would love to see her not have to spend hours alone each day. Currently  she will follow her foster mom around the house to see what's going on and has gained in confidence so much that she will now continue that investigation alone :) We thinks he would enjoy living with a family with kids to play with (although if you don't have kids we definitely won't exclude you) and love on who are active and excited to introduce her to the Pacific northwest and all the exciting hiking and beautiful outdoors we have to offer. She has never been to a beach before!

Although she loves to run and play she isn't a hyper active dog and is just as happy to sit and snuggle as she is to be outside playing, so make sure you have time in your life for some cuddles too!  As with all our dogs we do require that you attend a training class asap with your new pup- it's a great bonding experience and will help you both to succeed ! If you think you have the time and love to offer Miss Caper please read on for how to apply to be her forever people......

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $350 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
