My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Bell (formerly Caitlyn) is our senior from the “puppy mill five.”  Bell enjoys playing with other dogs (especially females) in the backyard and going on walks.  She loves snuggling on the couch and sleeping in the bed with her human.  Her foster mom reports that Bell has one of the sweetest temperaments she has ever seen.  She is very gentle and appreciative of what people do for her.  She also clowns around and is just about as beautiful as they come!  Her foster trusts her to roam the house when Bell is unsupervised, and she is well behaved.  She is still getting used to people approaching her, she hesitates with doorways, she has no interest in toys, and she is afraid of storms and loud noises.  Bell requires a little extra TLC, including wet food (due to teeth extraction) and eye drops twice a day (dry eye).  Bell is fine with kids but avoids them and needs a low-key environment and a structured routine.  Bell needs experienced Basset owners with patience.  Bell is available NOW
