My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Leo is a 5 year old Lhasa Apso. He is a very sweet boy but needs to be given a moment to get used to you before a ton of handling..he wants very much to be sweet but can be cautious. Leo does not appreciate being corrected so needs someone who can be a gentle but firm leader. He is ok with older children (over ten) but would be best in an adult only home. He does NOT like small children. He fine with cats and gets along with other small dogs. He is housebroken, kennel trained, leash trained and knows sit. Leo is good on walks in quiet areas but can act out when confronted by a lot of strangers on walks. Leo loves car rides and can be a snuggly and loving companion. Leo came into the shelter with serious skin issues. With good food and treating a skin infection those issues have  resolved and he is now growing back his beautiful coat but he needs to be kept flea free and on a good diet to prevent a reoccurrence. Adoption fee $100.
