My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LETTY is a Great Dane, almost 2yrs young, spayed female, approx 105 lbs, current on all vaccines, hw neg, and healthy . This young girl can be laid back when "chilling with her family" or quite the social butterfly around a crowd... she adjusts to her environment. She does not live with children but has interacted with them occasionally without any issue. We always recommend children be taller and stronger than the pet; so children over 12 would be best. LETTY is social and submissive with most dogs (her current canine companion a female - same size, same sex, and same breed has started instigating trouble). She has done well when interacting w/other dogs (various sizes) in a social "controlled" setting . We do NOT recommend dog parks for any dog we place due to the "uncontrolled environment" LETTY will bark at strangers initially but warms up quickly with the proper introduction (does fine in environments like Tractor Supply and /or Rural King). Her favorite activities include: Walking w/her companions, and running/playing in a large yard, car rides, and chew toys....some of her favorite toys include a nylabone and kong. And like MANY dogs LETTY enjoys a bully stick on special occasion and as a special treat. LETTY seems to enjoy training and would definitely benefit from someone willing to help build her obedience skills and comfort level with "crate training" since she can be destructive sometimes when left unattended. A fenced yard is a definite requirement for LETTY.
