My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet little Ellie girl was also hit by a car and left paralyzed in her rear legs. She dragged herself around for over two weeks before someone helped her. The tops of her feet and legs suffered so much abrasion that the small bones in her feet were scraped off. Finally a kind woman rescued her and took her in, cleaned her wounds and wrapped them. She took her to two vets who suggested she be euthanized. Another rescuer friend got involved and took her to Dr. Gaby who treated her, dressed her wounds and has been keeping her under observation while she heals. She is a vibrant and lively dog full of life and needs a home for us to save her.

Ellie is a small to medium sized dog, female, about 22lbs. Her wounds are healing, and although her back legs are paralyzed, she gets around on her own. She is recovering and growing stronger. Her quality of life would be greatly improved with a cart and a family to call her own. She is very sweet and affectionate and loves people. She does fine around other dogs, not sure about cats.

Contact info@theinsideandout.com for more info and adoption app. She would fly to Colorado March 22 if we can confirm a home for her. We need a confirmed home as opposed to foster by March 20 in order to get her out of Mexico. We cannot bring her if we cannot find a home.
