Ava (and her 3 sisters) was an owner surrender to the rescue at 4 weeks of age, the result of an unspayed mother. The mother is a white miniature poodle mix and all that is known about the father is that he was a medium size brown dog. This puppy is not to be considered “hypoallergenic”. Ava is currently 7 weeks old (birthdate is 1/28/18). She is expected to be a small/med. size adult 20-35 lbs. (size is only a guess). Ava's coat will need to be groomed on a regular basis to keep her looking and feeling great! She is a friendly, happy and playful girl that loves attention! She enjoys being held and loved on! Ava is as sweet as she is cute! She is looking for a home that has a visible, secure fenced yard for supervised play and potty. Someone who is home, or works from home, with the time and energy to provide the attention and training a young puppy needs. Due to her young age and size, she is best suited for children 10 yrs+ AVA IS CURRENTLY BEING CARED FOR IN TEXAS AND ONCE ADOPTED CAN BE TRANSPORTED TO CT (EAST HARTFORD) VIA NO STRESS PET EXPRESS. Her adoption fee of $465 includes spay, microchip, 2 sets of shots, bordatella vaccine, deworming, current flea/tick prevention, current heartworm prevention, interstate health certificate and transport. She will be eligible for transport on the April 12-14 trip (space is limited and needs to be reserved in advance). Ava will be 10 weeks old when ready for her new home.
