Check out this canine cutie! Clio is a charming Cane Corso that’s ready to find her forever family! Here are 10 things Ms. Clio wants her new people to know about her:
1. I am a two year old girl that’s confident, independent, and happy.
2. I adore grown-up people, and when I meet kids while out on walks, I also like them very much. That said, I think I would be happiest in a home with older, calmer children.
3. I’m friendly with big and small dogs. I live in a foster home with a male English Mastiff and we are best friends. I would love to find a place with a large male dog that I could play with.
4. I haven’t spent much time in the company of cats, so I’m not sure how I feel about living with one.
5. I’m very good at communicating my feelings to humans. I will let my forever family know when I need to go outside and if I get overexcited, I will give myself a time-out in my crate or under the bed.
6. Like many dogs of my breed, I can be stubborn and will need a home with consistent leadership and boundaries to be successful.
7. I love to play with toys and take naps, but my favorite pastime is eating! I’m always on the lookout for food, and once when I first came to rescue, I ate my foster dad’s grill brush because it smelled so good!
8. I am housebroken, crate trained, and great on a leash. I am learning basic obedience with my foster family, and would like to continue that training with my hew people.
9. I am current on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed.
10. I have started heartworm treatment, and will come with all the medicine needed to complete it at my new home.

Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a "perfect placement" so we know that they will not be failed again.
